LECTURE AND DISCUSSION ON PHYSIOLOGICAL CHILDBIRTH

Topics of the discussion on physiological childbirth:

1. How labour begins (how to distinguish real contractions from false ones)
2. Procedure upon arrival at the maternity hospital
3. What to bring with you to the maternity hospital
4. How to communicate with the staff at the maternity hospital (how to express your own wishes in a Croatian maternity hospital)
5. Physiological childbirth
6. How to cope with contractions
7. The moments immediately after birth

The workshop is designed as a discussion session where participants’ questions are the focus of the lecture. The workshop is led by: Erika Spirić – a midwife with over 40 years of experience, one of the founders of the Croatian Chamber of Midwives It takes place on 9 June at 18:00  

BREASTFEEDING WITHOUT PROBLEMS

Topics of the breastfeeding workshop:

1. Why breastfeed?
2. Challenges of the first days of breastfeeding
3. How to avoid and resolve breastfeeding problems
4. How to assess whether you need professional help with breastfeeding and whom to contact when you need assistance
5. Myths about breastfeeding and how to deal with your surroundings
6. Breastfeeding positions and correct latching of the baby onto the breast
7. Techniques for successful breastfeeding

The workshop is led by: Branka Mrzić Jagatić – a breastfeeding consultant with 20 years of experience It takes place on 11 June at 18:00  

BABY HANDLING

Topics of the practical baby handling workshop:

1. How to properly lift and carry a baby
2. How to change diapers and perform personal care
3. How to feed a baby while encouraging proper motor development from birth
4. What to expect in a baby’s motor development relative to age
5. How to apply babyhandling as the baby grows

The workshop is led by: Lea Zglavnik – an occupational therapist certified in sensory integration therapy, with 10 years of experience working with children and parents. Through formal and informal education, she has received additional training in early childhood development. It takes place on 16 June at 18:00   Venue: NajNaj studio – Ulica Ivana Kukuljevića 20, Zagreb. Workshop duration: The estimated duration of the workshop is two hours. The actual duration depends on participants’ questions.

Returns and exchanges

In accordance with Art. 86, Para. 1, Item 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, the Buyer does not have the right to unilaterally terminate the Distance Contract (refund), given that the subject of the contract is the provision of services related to leisure activities that take place at a specific time or within a specific period.

We reserve the right to cancel the workshop in the event of an insufficient number of registered participants. In that case, all buyers will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
