Yet we have often heard mothers say that breastfeeding is uncomfortable and that they experience back pain — so we designed a solution: The Ergobaby Nursing Pillow is made from firm foam and features a unique curved shape to help position the baby in the ideal tummy-to-tummy breastfeeding position. This way, the baby is properly aligned to feed comfortably and take in as much milk as desired. The baby is at the right height so the mother can avoid hunching and slouching during breastfeeding. Thanks to the pillow’s firm structure, which retains its shape over time, the comfortable position that mother and baby assume at the start of feeding will not change.
