Holding the tripod, turn the ring on the fresh food feeder down counter-clockwise to unlock and release the silicone attachment.
Wash it thoroughly in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher (top rack). The silicone attachment can be turned upside down to enable careful cleaning in hard-to-reach places.
It can also be sterilized with steam. Allow to dry before reattaching.
Place the cleaned or replacement silicone tip in place, then twist the ring up clockwise until it clicks and locks the silicone tip into place.
